Session Day
We'll follow your dog's lead. Expect plenty of treats, play breaks, sniffing, and patience while we create beautiful portraits together.

You'll receive a private online proofing gallery where you can view your images and select your 15 favorites for final retouching.
Your Portraits
Your selected images will be individually retouched and delivered in high resolution, along with your complimentary 8×10 fine-art print.

FAQ
My dog won’t sit still. Can you still photograph them?
Absolutely! Your dog doesn’t need to know how to pose—or even be particularly good at sitting still. Sessions are designed around dogs being dogs. We use treats, toys, sounds, movement, and plenty of patience to capture those split-second expressions and moments that make them them.
What if my dog is nervous, shy, or reactive?
That’s okay. We’ll work at your dog’s pace and give them as much time and space as they need to get comfortable. If your dog has specific triggers or sensitivities, just let me know when you inquire so we can choose the right setting and plan accordingly.
Does my dog need to be off leash?
Nope. Safety comes first. For outdoor sessions, dogs can stay leashed when needed, and the leash can often be removed during the final retouching process.
Can I be in the photos with my dog?
Yes! Even if you primarily want portraits of your dog, I always encourage getting a few together. You don’t have to be comfortable in front of the camera—I’ll guide you through it.
Can I bring more than one pet?
Yes. Additional pets from the same household can be included for an additional cost. Let me know how many pets you’d like photographed when you inquire so we can plan the session around everyone.
How long is the session?
There’s no strict stopwatch. Most Signature Sessions naturally wrap within about 60 minutes, but we’ll follow your dog’s lead and build in time for sniffing, settling in, treats, play, and breaks.
Where do studio sessions take place?
Studio sessions are held in Old 4th Ward. If you’d rather skip the trip—or your dog is most comfortable at home—you can add the VIP In-Home Studio option and I’ll bring the full studio setup to you.
How do outdoor sessions work?
We’ll choose an Atlanta-area location based on the look you want, your dog’s personality, and where they’ll be most comfortable. Outdoor sessions are scheduled with light, weather, and your dog’s needs in mind.
How much space do you need for an in-home studio?
The setup does require a reasonable amount of open floor space. You don’t need a giant house or a picture-perfect living room—we’ll confirm that your space will work before booking the in-home option.
Can I choose my backdrop color?
Yes. Studio Signature Sessions include one backdrop color from the available collection. If you want two different looks, a second backdrop can be added for $75.
How do I choose my final images?
After your session, you’ll receive a private online proofing gallery where you can choose the images you’d like fully retouched.
How do I book?
Start with the inquiry form and tell me a little about you, your dog, and what you have in mind. I’ll follow up with availability and next steps, and once we’ve settled on the details, you’ll receive everything you need to officially reserve your session.
